"The Skull Kid problem has been taken care of. Relax, Kairu. We'll help the Kokiri repair the damage, but I'm sure they won't mind if they take a break." She smiled at him. "Do you know how to swim? I'm sure Sephira will have her hands full trying to teach me, so she'll probably need all the help she can get." Ryli laughed, light filling her golden eyes. She may look like the typical full-blooded Gerudo, but she was definitely different than the rest of her tribe personality-wise. She hoped her new friends would be able to see that. "After we are done here, I was planning on heading back out to Kakariko. There's a nice inn there, and the town is peaceful. It's a good place to train, and its close proximity to Castle Town makes it easy to get to new missions. Have you been there yet?" Ryli thought the Hylian was nice, and thought they could be good friends.

Elliot, who had been quietly watching as more and more people began to regroup, pushed himself off of the tree he had been leaning against and stretched his tired muscles. He did a quick 360 of his surroundings, making sure that there were no straggling Skull Kids left behind. "Yep," he said, satisfied with their results, "my job here's done." He'd go to find Jacob and make sure he was okay and then head back to the inn for a well-deserved rest.

Kairu looked at Ryli with admiring eyes. "If I didn't know better, I'd think you were inviting me back to your place, Miss Ryli. As for swimming, nah, I never had the time to learn as a kid." He said looking down, avoiding the previously established eye contact. "But I'm sure you don't want to hear that depressing story right now. So I'm gonna go and help the repairs. Unless you'd prefer that I do something else?" He spoke trying to stay focused and not so easily distracted.

Ryli smiled and giggled. "I wanted to train with you. You are a great fighter, and you seem like a very nice man, which is why I thought you could come to Kakariko with me. The inn isn't 'my place'..... To be completely honest, I don't feel like I belong anywhere... I'm hoping to find my place in this world." She sighed, then looked back up at him. "It seems Sephira is too busy to teach me... Either that, or she's ignoring me." Ryli laughed again. "May I help you with the repairs?"

Kairu took a moment to weigh his options. "Sure, I'll go with you. I could use the experience. And of course you may join me with the repairs. I'll show you what us military boys can do," and he sent a wink her way. Kairu began walking towards the Kokiri General Store where he still felt eternally grateful to the store owner for the discount on the sword.

'He's quite cocky, isn't he? He looks a lot older than me...' Ryli thought to herself. 'Well, at least he's friendly. He also says he's military, so that will introduce me to yet another fighting style.' Ryli followed her new friend to the store. "I hope they didn't do a lot of damage to the merchandise," she said, half to herself and half to Kairu.

Kairu briefly heard her and replied, "What was that?" smiling in a gracious, somewhat caring smile. In the back of his head, he couldn't help but thanking the Goddesses for the good fortune. He never felt so comfortable before.

"I said I hope none of the merchandise was harmed," Ryli laughed. "So you mentioned before you were military. What caused you to leave the service?" Surely any man would love to serve the Royal Family. Could he already b retired? What reason could he have for leaving?

"I am still active in the military. I'm actually a new recruit. The Royal Expeditionary Force doesn't supply the troops with their own equipment. Henceforth, our first lesson in training is to go and buy or gather the appropriate equipment. I would die for the Royal Family. I would gladly sacrifice myself for the King and Princess Zelda. My father, and the rest of my family, however, did not approve of the military, since we've been a merchant family since before the Ancient wars with Agahnim. Hence I am no longer an Agamemnon, I'm just Kairu." He said, in a gloomy tone. "My father doesn't believe that a military is necessary, however, I can feel, sense that something is looming out there. That the military is necessary if we are to maintain Hyrule's prestige. And I want to be on the front lines." He spoke with much pride. "I'm sorry, sometimes, I get a little too carried away."

"Don't be sorry. My family disapproves of me too....I never stole or went on raids, and that made me a second-class citizen in their eyes. I ran away. I'm now training with a Sheikah so I can serve the Royal Family. I have sworn my allegence to them. It's very hard overcoming the stereotypes..... People view me just as they view the rest of the Gerudo. I can't help what race I am. I want to begin a new life, away from my tribe and my mother." Ryli hoped she hadn't dumped too much on him by telling him her story. She just thought he'd understand better than anyone.

"I'm not gonna lie, but I first thought you were just another attractive Gerudo woman who didn't like us lesser Hylians. But I was wrong. You're not one of them. I feel like we're two peas in the same pod. Both shunned by our respective families and having pledged loyalty to the Royal Family. I completely understand," and Kairu's eyes proved it. "I may not completely comprehend Gerudo life, but I understand the hardships of not getting to the family's expectations."

"My mother was the Gerudo leader.... Needless to say, I was a major disappoinment." Ryli smiled, "Thank you for understanding. I'm really glad to have someone to relate with. This is unimportant now, and can certainly wait until after the repairs are finished, but do you know where I could get different clothes? I'm trying to shed my stereotypical Gerudo image. The eyes, skin, and hair I can't do much about, but I'd like to find something... a little less revealing to wear." By this time, she and Kairu had arrived at the entrance of the General Store.

(Sorry, Ryli, I haven't bee online.)
Sephira watched as Ryli and Kairu flirted back and forth. She sighed, missing the days when she would have done similair. Before the Gerudo ducked into the Store to check its damages, Sephira yelled, "Sure, I'll teach you. You can find me anywhere in Hyrule Field. You might have to call for Star or Midnight, though!" She then dove back under the water, enjoying the coolness of it.

Ryli went over to the water where Sephira was. She took off her shoes and waded in about waist-deep. "If I go much farther, I might drown on you," Ryli laughed. "I think I may just sink like a Goron." She was saying everything jokingly, but she was telling the truth here. She tried to keep her calm, but she was absolutely terrified.

Kairu walked in first, allowing Ryli time to finish any other possible conversation. He walked up to the store owner and asked for permission to help out. He saw some of the shelves of merchandise knocked over, a portion of the wall destroyed and just general damage. Kairu walked over to the shelves to help clean up.
