Ryli took a deep breath, then headed back into the fray. She swung like a mad woman, but it seemed like they'd never stop coming. The Kokiri had all hidden in their homes... That was definitely smart of them. Ryli glanced up at the entrance to the Lost Woods. Her fire was still burning, but it wouldn't last a whole lot longer. Through the flames, she could see more Skull Kids already lining up, ready to burst through once the fire went out.

Elliot positioned himself near the entrance where the Skull Kids were just waiting to attack, hoping to prepare himself from the next onslaught. "C'mon, think!" he said outloud to himself in frustration. "Think! There has to be something..." His eyes locked on to a river near the middle of the Forest, forming a new idea in his head. "Say girl!" he called out, for lack of another name to call her. "Do you have any idea if Skull Kids can drown?"

Jacob heard Elliot say something, but he was to busy defending smaller Kokiri with some bigger Kokiri. Jacob had gotten into a pattern. First he would punch his opponent and say "Rock!" Then he would poke the Skull Kid's 'eyes' with two of his fingers and say "Blades!" And to finish them off, Jacob would push them back with a palm of either of his hands and say "Flat scroll!" Jacob heard the barricade idea, and grinned. "What is the Skull Kids' weakness?" Jacob asked one of the big Kokiri near him. "Let me think for a bit, I'll think of something soon!" The Kokiri replied, moving his head to the side before atleast 10 Deku Seeds came aimed at the Kokiri's neck.

Ryli thought for a moment. "I'm pretty sure they can! The live in the middle of the woods, so there's not too many places for them to learn. What do you have in mind exactly?" She had a feeling she knew, but she wanted to make absolutely sure she was on the same page as the Hylian. They didn't have the time for one of them to be confused.

"Drown the suckers! Drown them all!" Grabbing a hold of one from its backside, he flung it with all of his strength towards the little pond. It missed and bounced several inches away from it. Elliot hurriedly ran over to it and gave it a swift kick into the water. He turned back to the Gerudo. "That is what you had in mind, yes?"

"If we just throw them in, we are in the same predicament we are in now. More will keep coming. Can you think of a way to divert their invasion to where they FALL in, rather than us pushing them?" Ryli thought that it could actually use more energy throwing them in than just hitting them. They had to come up with a way to stop them at their source. She just couldn't think of a means to acheive that....

Elliot tossed another Skull Kid into the water. "That's true... Maybe what we need is some kind of-" He kick-swept two more into their watery demise. "-bait to lead them into the water. But what are Skull Kid's attracted to?" Distracted from his ponderings, he just barely dodged a dart speeding towards his face. Bait...bait...Something to attract a Skull Kid... His face lit up and he took in a sharp gasp. "Music!"

Ryli smiled at the Hylian, then bent down and picked up the flute that a Skull Kid had dropped. "Do you know how to play this, or shall I?" The instrument was simple, and she had a bit of musical experience. She'd tried to play something similar to it once, only it was a Gerudo rendition of the instrument. "I've lived in the desert my whole life, so I can't swim, so if you want me to do it, we'll have to come up with a way to get me far enough away from the water without me drowning, but close enough to where the Skull Kids will fall in."

Sephira and Midnight burst into the village, quickly taking stock of what was going on. Midnight cocked his ears. "Those two plan to use music to pull Skull kids into the water." Sephira nodded. "It seems like a good idea, but do we really want to drown them? They're only kids." She thought hard on another way, all the while fighting her way to the Hylians and Gerudo near the water shore. When she got there she had thought of a simple plan. "We don't want to drown them! They're only kids!" she shouted. "I can try to sing them further into Lost Woods. I can't get lost with Midnight, so it might keep them at bay." Midnight lunged at a Skull kid, his presense giving the group a small breather, though Sephira kept fighting as she was fresher.

Elliot pondered over the newcomer's words. "A kind idea," he conceded, "but if we lead them back into the Lost Woods, there's still a chance that they could come back to bother the Kokiri's. We'd still have to find some way to block their path from coming here." He turned back to the Gerudo female. "Now getting you into the water just enough so you don't drown along with the Skull Kids shouldn't be a problem." He pointed to the path of rocks lined along the water. "I could carry you over to those rock platforms on my shoulders where you can work your musical magic there. I couldn't do it since I'm...you know...musically deaf."

"If I lead them around, surely you cut down enought trees to block the entrance, couldn't you? I know Lost Woods well enough that I could get back out again." Sephira called back, slapping a Skull kid on the rump with her hand.

Elliot looked up in surprise, momentarily stopping him in mid-action. "Actually, I did think about doing that--chopping down the trees to use as a heavy barricade. I'm sure it would hold them off quite well. But seeing as to how these trees are the Kokiri's home and life structure, I don't know if they would be too happy with us if we did th-" A Skull Kid jumped onto his back from behind, shouting gleefully all the while whacking him on the sides of his head with its flute. "Ow! Ow! Get off, you!" Elliot tore frantically at his backside, causing him to spin around in circles like a dancer. Using his sword, he repeatedly smacked as hard as he could at the creature before it finally gave in and landed hard on the ground. Elliot yanked it back up then hurled it away like a light-weight rag doll. Then he cleared his throat and straightened himself back up, attempting to regain his composure. "Of course I'm sure they'd prefer a partially deforested landscape rather than a bunch of Skull Kids running amok."

Sephira shoved a Skull kid off Midnight. "If we need to, we can just use the branches. It might be more secure if we do, now that I think about it. And if we poke brambles or some other kind of thorn through, they wouldn't try to climb it, so it wouldn't have to be as high." she said, bashing another Skull kid in the face with her elbow. "Ow!" She hit him at the wrong angle and got her funny bone. Rubbing it, she kicked out at any Skull kids coming too close.

One of the Kokiri heard the ongoing conversation and decided to contribute. "On the path to the Deku Tree, there is some brambles that you guys could use!" Jacob also decided to contribute. "Me and the Kokiri who can fight would push to the Skull Kids back into the Lost Woods while you guys got the brambles and built the barricade! So, how about it?"

Ryli was the first to answer. "That sounds great! Hylian, will you help me?" She didn't want to be the one to lead the Skull Kids to their doom, so she rather liked this idea. She really hoped it worked... The only thing she was really scared of is whether or not Jacob would be able to handle himself along with the little Kokiri. She didn't want the children to be injured...
