Kairu soon left the forest and broke clear into the vast expanse of Hyrule Field. He took a deep inhale of fresh crisp air. He looked up and thought it was peculiar as to why there was no rain, not even a cloud in the sky, although he knew he felt a raindrop. He began walking north to Hyrule Castle Market, back home. But he started to plan ahead on where to camp out when it started to get dark.

Kairu continued along the main "road", of sorts that cut its way through the field. He followed it until he saw it starting to get dark. He didn't have much for camping so he found a spot under a tree a bit off from the path so he wasn't immediately spotted. He took of his mail and unstrapped his blade and sheath so he could sleep. He propped up against the tree. Completely oblivious that there was a golden skulltula web in the tree.
A few hours later he awoke to scratching and scuffles from nearby. He looked around and saw nothing, since it was dark. The sound dissipated quickly and he went back to laying against the tree. All of a sudden something fell land landed in his lap. Kairu flipped out and shrieked grabbing his blade and slashing at it, eventually killing it. He wasn't sure what to do with it, so he kicked it down a hill and tried to go back to sleep until dawn.

Kairu started to doze off when the sun began to rise and poke it's shining face from behind Zora's Domain. He said a couple insults to himself out loud and stood up to stretch. He then put on his mail and the sword. He took a deep breath and resumed his travel back to Hyrule Castle Market and there, to the public BBS.

Kairu emerged from the Kokiri Forest after the mission and the group of friends finished helping the forest dwellers. What Ryli said about going to Kakariko to help train, or even to visit, kept replaying through his mind. He hadn't been home for a few days now, but he didn't want to disappoint a Gerudo, especially one so attractive and so different from the rest of her kin. Then, at the thought of kin, he remembered his son. 'What would his son think if he knew what his father thought and did when he wasn't home?' After all, he has been shunned by his parents and their families, he would be devastated if his wife and child left him too. Not to mention his services to the Royal Family and the military. Being gone this long, he could easily be considered M.I.A. Nevertheless, it couldn't hurt, so he decided he'd take Ryli up on the offer and visit her in Kakariko see what happens from there. When he broke through the last bit of the Lost Woods to Hyrule Field, he scanned the horizon for Death Mountain. When he saw the massive volcano sticking out, he began traveling towards it. He took note of the Sun overhead and guessed it was closer towards 2pm. He sighed "Well when I get there, it'll prolly be the middle of the night. Guess I'll have to wait until morning to get there."

Reaching the Field, Amaterasu looked around, not sure of where to go. Her eyes fell on the Castle. Figuring she could get a few more Rupees by playing her ocarina for the townspeople. But first, she needed some kind of transportation besides walking. She sprinted to Lon-Lon-Ranch, hoping she could get there before nightfall. She entered the Ranch to the smell of horses and hay.
