as Gerrard walked away from the kokiri shop he noticed a cave that seemed to have a old kokori in it. He walked up to it and noticed that the sign said "Free training of the arts". He stepped inside and his nostrils got hit with the strong smell of incense. He then decided to take out his newly acquired iron sword and do some practice slashes aimed at an invisible foe about 2 feet away from him. He notices that his slashes seem to be shaky 'maybe I do need some practice' he thought to himself. He walks up to the elder and said "may you train me in the arts of the sword?"

"What is it you want to learn?" asked the korki

as the kokori asked the question Gerrard thought to himself 'what do I need to learn? In the past i have had trouble with duels' he sat there for a few more moments thinking about the different things he had trouble with concerning the sword. He then decided what he would like to learn "could you teach me the art of the fighting of moblins?" Since moblins had killed his whole village he would love to learn how to kill them.

"Ceartenly." said the man as he rolled under gerrads feet and acted like he would take his head off with his sword. (the korkis sword that is)

as the old kokiri did the move his instincts jumped in as he moved his sword to block the blow that never came. He immediately thought that the kokiri was much more flexible than he had thought it would be. He stepped out of the way and said "you are must quicker than I thought you to be"

As the old kokiri said his witty response he faced the fact that he was clumsier than usual. "I am sorry elder" he said. "May you now teach me the arts of fighting the Moblins"? I said a little bit impatiently, for I had somewhere to go pretty soon

"I will not train a impatient fool!!" said the elder and in the blink of an eye the elder had gerrad tied up. "You will learn patience then we will talk." said the elder as he dissarmed gerrad.

As the elder tied him up he had to face the fact he would be late. He tried to squirm out of the ropes but the elder had tied him up very well. "Okay elder, I no longer have to go anywhere" He said, "you may teach me now at your own pace." After he said that he sat there thinking 'I wonder if they'll forgive me? Well I can't help it now that the elder had tied me up' he then sat there waiting for the elder to start teaching

2 ours later. "Good you have learned patience so now we train." said the elder as he untied him. "roll under the moblin jump on his back and behead him a simple tatic i teach come back when you have more patience and i will teach you the secret of the ancents." and with that the cave and elder vanished to somwhere in the lost woods were only the most patien and clever go.

he made a personal note of the tactic and then started walking out of the cave. 'Now where do I go' he thought to himself as he started leaving the kokiri woods. The smell of the forest smelled so fresh compared to the heavy scent of incense that resided in the cave of the elder. It was now night and he had nowhere to stay so he decided to walk through the night.
